RTRMON RTRMON v2.2.3 -Nov 16, 2025- Monitor your Router's Health (New: Wireguard, AMTM, Network Conn/Bandwidth/Diag + Port Scanner + Speedtest) - CLOSED

Please try clicking on this "network" button under the "show by", and let me know what you see there for these different devices that you highlighted? Hopefully that will show us some more info?

@Viktor Jaep and @ExtremeFiretop: Here's my rtrmon client output followed by client to node list (from Asus app on phone). All of the Local VLAN/AiMesh VLAN lists for br53 (IoT devices, .52 subnet), br52 (guest devices, .54 subnet), br0 (private network, .222 subnet) all appear correct. The issue that I see has to do with Local 2.4Ghz (IFace wl3), Local 5.0Ghz (IFace wl0), Local 6.0Ghz (IFace wl1), and Local 6.0Ghz (2) (IFace wl2) — these are all unpopulated (there are definitely more "local" devices (i.e., connected to primary router)). Also , the single device on Local Guest Wi-Fi (IFace 1.1) is NOT on guest network.

Sure hope rtrmon does not rely on the client list group by. It no longer displays any aimesh connections.
I have considered posting about this but in the past posts about the client list have been met with it's a asus issue.
Currently it only shows wired clients and wireless clients with a connection to the main node by ssid.
The ALL list does show all connections wired/wireless from all nodes.
Dang. It used to! That was always a helpful screen to try to help with troubleshooting. Thanks for sharing.

Grr... I really need to get me one of those GT-BE98 Pro's so I can do some adequate testing. :( I might have to PM you some commands again to see where things aren't working anymore. I wonder what changed, because I'm pretty sure this all used to work.

It did used to work. Let me know what you need...

Thanks @visortgw ... I'm unfortunately going to be out-of-pocket this weekend... I may be able to work with you on & off through the next week, but the following weekend is looking more likely.

Whenever you get to it is fine. This isn’t your day job...

As we can see, @Viktor Jaep has brought many great additions/addons and advice to our community.
IMHO, it’s time to help Mr. Jeap out and thank him for all his work!
Since he has said he really needs to “get one of those GT-BR98 Pro’s” (around $630 USD from a number of US sites) - lets help him out!!!!

Here is his donation link from the AddOn Developer Donation thread:

https://www.buymeacoffee.com/viktorjp

It will be a win/win! Viktor gets a fancy (although a bit odd looking) GT-BE98 Pro for testing all his scripts and we get to thank Viktor and benefit from his scripts and testing!

@RMerlin and @thiggins - I will be cross posting this to a few other, Viktor related threads. If this is an issue, please let me know (and remove).

Thank you! Wow you guys are WAY too generous! Thank you all so much for your support... I'm going to see about getting one around Black Friday or Cyber Monday. Crossing my fingers for a good deal! ♥️

Is such a high memory usage expected? I have a RT-BE88U, running RTRMON V2.2.2. Only happens when RTRMON is running. Otherwise memory usage is around 700MB

Hey @SashaSolitaire... If you're daring, there's an early beta (more like alpha) sitting in my development queue that has memory stats more in line with what you see on the webUI. Feel free to give it a shot if you want!

Code:
curl --retry 3 "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ViktorJp/RTRMON/develop/rtrmon.sh" -o "/jffs/scripts/rtrmon.sh" && chmod 755 "/jffs/scripts/rtrmon.sh"

Hello! I'm getting an error when running the script. I have a BE88U router and a BE86U node. What could be the problem?

Since it's talking about jq, I'd first make sure you can reach this site, and that you're not blocking them?

Code:
http://ip-api.com

@Viktor Jaep I can access the page
What happens when it's done loading this screen after displaying these errors? Does it show you the memory page? Could you go to page 2, and please send me a screenshot of what you see?

Hi, the script starts running after 5 minutes. I've attached screenshots; are these the ones you need?

Yeah, looks like for some reason it's not populating the "city" field for each of your VPN connections. I'll send you some commands to try from your router, ok?

Excellent, thank you.
From an SSH command prompt window on your router, run this command, and see what it comes back with? I used the IP of your OVPN1 connection:

Code:
curl --silent --retry 3 --request GET --url http://ip-api.com/json/89.238.174.2 | jq --raw-output .city
