Running squid on AC68U

I run squid so I can browse the Internet when I ssh into my router. I have used the same config for a long time and I am not sure if it is optimal. Does anyone have some pointers for me to optimize? My sd card is 64GB

you don't need squid to browse internet when you ssh to your router.
you can use putty's built-in socks5 server
