Same bands for APs?

I have the AX88U as the main router, and the AC68U as an AP. Same SSIDs and passwords on both units.

Is it better to run both on the same wireless band? Or set each on different non overlapping bands?

Thanks.
 
If it's a wired AP, set to different bands.
