Software development kit.

The chip used by the router is developed by Broadcom. They provide manufacturers with an SDK, which contains sample code, the drivers, support libraries, etc...

Asus switched to a newer version of that code in recent RT-N66U firmwares (6.30, the old one was 5.100).
