New Around Here
Hello,
I currently have a RT-68U running stock firmware and I have VPN set-up using the OpenVPN client on the router and it works no problem in routing all traffic over the VPN (the server is actually another 68U). However, what I would like to do is route only certain websites traffic over the VPN and the rest via the local ISP.
I have tried editing the OpenVPN config file with the following:
route-nopull
route x.x.x.x (where x.x.x.x is the IP address of the website in question)
but this does not work.
I have been told that I may be able to do this if I install the Merlin firmware on the client router and create a config file to route selected IP traffic via the VPN but I am unsure of how to do this.
Does anybody have any experience of doing something like this? If so any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
Thank you!
