Setting Up Asus RT-N12 Thru 2WIRE 1701HG

Hello all! New to the forums and wireless. I am trying to setup an Asus RT-N12 thru a 2Wire modem/wireless router. I have tried to set the 2Wire up as a modem but when I do the local network light on the front goes from green to amber and I can no longer access the internet. Any suggestions? Thanks.

When you bridge the modem, it bypasses all settings and requires you to setup PPPoE on your Asus RT-N12.
