I think so. I did try in another port with a PC and it worked. So it may be a flaky cable depends on how you bend it. I guess it could be the Intel NIC card in pfsense but a different cable fixed that.

All my cables are getting old. A few of them I crimped 30 years ago. I am not real happy with the newer cables around. I just threw out a new cable I bought as it did not handle POE+ well.
