Put a reminder for yourself to check it on the 25th of November, if you must.

But if the network stays up, it doesn't matter how much RAM is used (or not) in daily use. It fluctuates as needed and if there was a real problem, others would have also responded by now.

I understand what you're saying about not checking it all the time and that it will eventually level off. But every day since i've done the power cycle on the router I've noticed the memory just creep up every day. By looking at it I can tell you I see about a 7 to 8 MB increase day to day this is the exact same activity that was going on with my previous router. The reason I have such a high concern for this is because I don't want to see the same problem happen again and be outside of my return window when it does.

What used to happen with my RT-AC66u is that every day it would creep up until eventually it was sitting at 70% RAM usage while doing nothing and it would eventually lead to a reboot. The memory wouldn't even go down after a reboot of the router the only thing that would do it is a physical power cycle.

I understand the points that have been made to me saying that if this were a real issue definitely more people would've responded but to be honest I'm still uneasy about the situation just because I don't want to get stuck. It would be nice if someone could comment on if this has happened to them and if eventually the router cleared its RAM. I've only had the router running about three or four days now since I did the power cycle, I started out that between 19 and 20% in every day since it has gone up exponentially.

Please understand I'm not trying to be a pain in anyone's butt I'm just nervous about the situation
