New Around Here
Hi all,
I use "AX 1800 wifi router with Linux version 4.4.198 (gitserv_asus@tpbuildsvrvu01) (gcc version 5.4.0 (LEDE GCC 5.4.0 unknown) ) #1 SMP Sun Aug 20 03:11:59 CST 2023"

I have a problem with flash or more correct, I can't see whats availble with command # flash (flash all) now showing anything.
I need the verb (cmd) to change (set and get ) WIFI password and restart router.

Is this possible with this router or do I need to buy something better?

Best Regards
Mats

Do a "deep reset" (consult Asus' website FAQ) and you should be good to go.

There aren't any "cmd"s on the router; it's running (mostly GNU/) Linux. "cmd" is Microsoft being "not invented here" (which is funny considering they bought DOS as their "foot in the door" way back when).

@Ulven You're not telling us what specific router you have, though it looks like you are running OpenWRT which I was not aware has a literal "flash" command.

If you are using OpenWRT then you'll likely be better asking on the OpenWRT forums

So I prosume the "set" will work to.

Thank's

FWIW - the AX1800 is very different than the AX1800S - one is broadcom based, the other is MediaTek...

IIRC - the mediatek devices use the LEDE toolchain - because the MediaTek SDK
