I just resorted to using parental controls again. They failed spectacularly when I first got the router but now I'm using the Merlin build so I was pretty sure it would work. After having dealt with a child that used a mac spoofer in the past I was forced to use the mac filtering (entering 28+ devices was a pain) but it seems to be working well so far.

My son is a huge gamer (CSGO). We finally got fed up with him waking us up at 3:00am yelling at his teammates on Skype.

So glad this is working. I was at my wits end.

That's GREAT to hear, Zooks. YEah, Parental Controls with Merlin's F/W should be a sticky or highlighted as working beautifully. I too, heard the bad rep of P.C. and looked for another way, more convoluted... but was alerted to this way and it is simple and foolproof.
