Subnet Mask for Wireless Access Point

If my Default Gateway and DHCP server (Leviton Internet Gateway) has a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 what should the subnet mask be of my internet access point (Belkin Wireless Router)? Its currently set to 255.255.255.0 also. Should it be something else?
