hi, has anyone here tried the SWRT firmware? How does it differ from, for example, Merlin and is it actually safe?

Running Asuswrt or Asuswrt-Merlin on a non-Asus devices is in violation of licensing terms. It`s neither safe nor legal.

 

[Tech9]

This is China region specific firmware similar to Koolshare. They don't care much about legal, licensing and safe. Tech side interesting for me is how they do it so fast for so many models plus claims of unlocking 160MHz and 4-stream on specific models. If it really works - impressive. I have some new things to test, I guess.
