I've narrowed down my search for a new NAS to:
The Synology DS209 ($286, no disks)
or
Asus Home Server TS Mini ($270, with 500 gig)
I've used an older synology and have been happy. It's time to get faster speeds on my network. I've helped set up various NAS's for others...but have never compared these two to each other.
It'll be used to backup 6 computers and also share common files among a few users.
