test router

Is there a way to test my router for up and downstream ? I still seem to be having issues with it since the firmware swapping

You need to take your router off internet and connect a PC in WAN and another PC in LAN. You than run iperf. It takes some configuration and i suggest doing simultaneous WAN-LAN if you have a fast router. Its important to know that your bandwidth needs are your download + upload not download only

Hi,

Did you consider to use http://www.speedtest.net/ ?
It provides quite accurate results due to local severs in your country...

With kind regards
