Thinking of Buying The RT-AX88U Pro

I currently have an ASUS RT-AC88U, and am thinking of buying the RT-AX88U Pro. Is it worth the upgrade? Thank you.

RT-AC88U is End-of-Life product. No more firmware upgrades, no more security fixes. RT-AX88U Pro is a good replacement.

How does the RT-AX88U Pro perform on WireGuard using the ASUS firmware? I assume I'll be able to retain more of my actual non-VPN download speed with the RT-AX88U Pro using WireGuard than I get when using my RT-AC88U running DD-WRT with WireGuard.
