Advice on moving from TP-Link to ASUS

Hopefully it provides just enough improvement. Temporary location is additional complication.
I took out both AX53s and put my GT-AX6000 in the middle of the house and all my cameras are better than 70RSSI now only the ringdoorbell hovers around 74
I would say thats an improvement over the 2x AX53s I think if I get another AX6000 when I move to the new house I would be satisfied.

I had a question though does the gaming port work and do I need to enable QOS with it or not
I am asking in the scenario someone is downloading and pulling all bandwidth it would still prioritize my PC gaming traffic so my latency doesnt spike

when I move to the new house

I thought you have moved already. Don't buy equipment in advance. Your new place will be different Wi-Fi environment. Do the tests when you move. You may not need any extra equipment, who knows?

the gaming port

This Gaming Port in theory has to prioritize any device connected there. How well it will work for your needs is something you are going to find out. I remember seeing some mixed feedback about real world usability, I personally never tested it. It's a Broadcom SoC feature separate from firmware QoS options.
