Thoughts on the RT-BE3600?

I believe it's the lowest cost Wi-Fi 7 router from ASUS at the moment; I brought for a family member. But want to know if anyone else has this router and share their experiences? Its rock-solid stable for you, any quirks or bugs?

I don't have one but you might like to advise which one you have to fine tune folks responses?

Entry-level models are not very popular around SNB Forum members. This specific model is "price first", in BE-class for mostly marketing purposes, SoC with built-in 2x2 radios, not very useful 2.5GbE port. If it doesn't work properly for your family member or doesn't cover the needs - just send it back. Someone else's experience likely in different region with different RF regulations and different expectations - doesn't really matter.

If you are the one who is going to be managing this router - run a VPN server and monitor it. Go with simple configuration with no Smart and Auto. You already have an ASUS router and know. Set it to maximum compatibility with nothing fancy on 2.4GHz @20MHz and 5GHz in non-DFS @80MHz. Preferably use fixed channels and bandwidth to minimize device connection issues on channel or channel bandwidth change.
