Thoughts on the Terastation Live 4TB?

I've got an opportunity to pick up one of these units for $930 where I'm seeing most places online sell them for $1500 plus. Any of you have experience with them? What are your thoughts?

We tested a TeraStation PRO II, which I assume is the same hardware.

It was a good design for its time. But have a look at the PRO II's ranking in the 1000 Mbps RAID 5 charts.

16.5 MB/s? that's pretty bad over GigE. Not sure if the better price point offsets the slower performance. Almost 3 terabytes of usable storage is pretty tempting for under 1K
