TM-AC1900 with 380.57 and CFE 2.1.2.6

I have a couple years old tmobile router with Asuswrt-Merlin 380.57 and CFE 2.1.2.6, is there an easy way to upgrade it to the latest Merlin f/w 384.7 or the lastest stock Asus firmware?

I tried to upgrade it thru the webpage, it won't take the newer Merlin or Asus firmware. I did lot of search online, including here and slickdeal, it seems the first thing needs to do is downgrade CFE to 1.0.2.0, then i can upgrade with any firmware i want. Is this true?

can anyone give me a link which shows how to do the CFE downgrade?

Check the post on the main page or just search for T-Mobile. You will see it is not legal to run Asus f/w on your router.
