Traffic Analyzer-router comes up as client?

I have a rt=ac68 router, In Traffic Analyzer, when looking at statistics in router mode (which lists clients) why does the mac address of the rt-ac68 router come up as one of the clients? Since the rt-ac68 is the router, how can it be a client of itself?

I assume that it's referring to traffic originating from the RT-AC68U, like maybe dnsmasq or checking for firmware updates.

For weeks, I was thinking that someone was somehow sneaking through my wireless security, then I realized that the mac address was the address of the router! I wish there was a way to change the mac address to a name (like rt-ac68) on the Traffic Analyzer.
