Traffic Monitor shows spikes

My Traffic monitor shows spikes of data movement across the internet at 100x GB rate. This screws up my totals with terabyte numbers and skews the display scaling.

Happens once or twice a week. ISP does not see anything out of the ordinary.

same issue on my RT-AC5300....

annoying shows a spike that I uploaded 99GB and downloaded over 400GB in a second. Even shows up in my daily usage.

this was an issue on Merlin firmware which was fixed on the AC86U on an update
