Using the amazing aegis and it's new GUI i watched the log for a bit and found that there were connection attempts being blocked
to an IP inside my network. To an IP address I recognized as my secondary R7800 which I use in AP mode.
Checking this router I find that the transmission daemon is running! So something *outside* my network knew
the process was running on the router and was trying to connect to it, and fairly often.
I don't use transmission at all and don't need it, so in the spirit of the other daemons we've investigated here, I ran an experiment.
In /usr/bin I 'chmod -x transmission-daemon' and also 'chmod -x transmission-remote'.
I also killed the running process.
Nearly a day now and no ill affects.
