Trend Micro filtering via InstantGuard on your phone?

Hi,

I have an Asus tuf 3000 v2 router. My question is if I use InstantGuard on my phone, why does the Ai protection virus filter not work? Are the more expensive models only able to do this?

Of course. AiProtection (on the router) generally cannot examine/inspect what's inside the encrypted VPN tunnel that was started from a local network client device (PC or mobile device).

InstantGuard is a VPN tunnel to the router. It can go through AiProtection to WAN if Asus wanted it this way.
