Troublesome internet connectivity after enabling Dual WAN functionality

Hi guys ... I have an RT-N66U running the latest Merlin build (378.55 I think it is). Recently I enabled Dual WAN functionality on the router, such that the normal DSL internet is the primary, while a 4G USB based Internet is the secondary. I have also tested the Dual WAN functionality and it seems to be working (switches to USB Internet when the DSL goes down, and switches back to DSL when it's back up).

However since enabling this feature, I've noticed another problem which occurs sometimes: if the router is using the DSL Internet and if I'm downloading something, sometimes Internet browsing will stop working, the router will report that both primary and secondary Internet WAN sources are 'Disconnected' (with a cross), however the download on my PC is still running !!! Somehow, all Internet communication EXCEPT that running download are stopped, and the router reports that both internet sources are disconnected ..

One quick fix for this is to restart the router, while the other is to wait a really long time and the router sometimes resolves the issue itself ... :/

Can someone suggest what I should do to resolve this ?
