Trying to hook up a D-Link DIR-605L Cloud Router to a Thomson DCI5211NUM cablebox
I have a Thomson DCI5211NUM cablebox. Main purpose is to watch TV but it has an ethernet port.
I have connected my laptop to the ethernet port and it works. It's slow, but it works.
I wanted to hook up my D-Link DIR-605L Cloud Router to that Thomson DCI5211NUM cablebox but that didn't work out so far.
I'm on the screen D-Link screen where it asks me how I want to connect: static IP or DHCP. But none of them seem to work.
If I can't even get past that how am I supposed to set it up?
