New Around Here
Thanks for all your hard work over these years, I have been enjoying my AC68U for more than 2 years.
Recently I have upgraded from 374.43_2 to 380.58. Factory reset (before and after upgrade) was done.

1. (This happens before my upgrade) While trying to SSH-tunnel via my own Ubuntu at home (port forwarded), aimed at connecting https://192.168.1.1:8443/ the web admin pages do not load smooth, some images are broken, some pages (e.g. Tools) simply cannot finish. After investigation in Firefox browser console, changing about:config "network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server" to "3" helps. Since there is no way to tweak similar parameter in Chrome, does anyone be aware of this or it is my own fault?

2. Is there any simple and fast page to toggle 2.4/5 wifi channel? AFAIK I have to go to Wireless > Professional > Enable Radio.

3. In 380.58 the Wireless MAC filter table lost the client name mapping capability. The filtering list was separate for 2.4/5 channel too. Does Merlin have a plan to let me import a list of MAC addresses in one file :)

Thanks again.

If you set the web gui access to http (or both), and then try to access the web page through the ssh tunnel at home using 192.168.1.1, do you get the same problem?

And if you have tried setting up the tunnel from a remote IP address and trying to access the web admin interface - either via https or http, does the same problem exist?

Are you able to try the same thing from a different device eg a smartphone or a Windows laptop?

I have the same router and have no problem doing what you have done either with Ubuntu or Windows (or Apple iOS).

The name field was a constant source of issues due to compatibility problems between the stock firmware (which didn't have that extra parameter) and mine. Now that Asus has integrated the networkmap into that page, I have completely removed the field. The name displayed will now come from the networkmap, which is the proper way to handle it (one central location for device description).
