How much of an upgrade/downgrade would this be for an ASUS ROG GT-AX6000 user (with Merlin firmware) like me?

(if the posted rumor about this ASUS model already being EOL turns out to be truth after all, which seems unlikely to me)

I wouldn't call it an upgrade - that aside, it's an interesting little box - looks like the old Airport Express, but with a fair amount of functionality that Apple never had..

Aside from mid-range hardware used - brand new product with childhood issues. May be a good choice after some time, but not right now.
