Update Merlin 386.5_2 to 386.7_2 Fails on RT-AC86U Mesh

Downloaded the 386.7_2 update and applied it to the master on a two node net, master and one node. Both routers are RT-AC86U. The master router now shows rev 386.7_2. When we tried to update the node, the update failed. Retried several times, the node gets stuck saying "Updating settings please wait". After restarting the node, it reports still being on 286.5_2. Any idea how to fix this?

Reset the node to defaults. Re-add the node and then try again to update the firmware.

Just stay on 386.5_2. Works fine on 86U while both 386.7 and 386.7_2 give different crazy things.

Use the latest factory firmware on your node and it should work with the 386.7_2 on the primary.
