Update path advice

HI y'all.
My pair of XT8 / RT-AX95Q devices are both running 3004.388.8
I am aware there have been some major changes along the path to 3004.388.11

Is a dirty update doable, or is there a version/s i should install before i get to the latest version?

Make screen capture copies of the config pages in a separate file for use after updating so you don't loose what you did. Same for any scripts, etc.
Cleanest, known state, cleared memory, starting point that avoids issues is to factory reset and manually configure after firmware upgrade. Always

You can try a dirty upgrade and see if any immediate issues occur. Some do this without any issue. But , if you start having issues, start with a factory reset and basic config to aid with trouble shooting.

Latest stable release GNUton Asuswrt-Merlin fork is 3004.388.10_2. Your current 3004.388.11_1 path is to not recommended for everyday use alpha1, pre-release, for test purposes only.

Dirty upgrade from 3004.388.8 to 3004.388.10_2 is relatively low risk.
