Updated to 380.70 but still getting update notification, AC1900P

RT-AC1900P HW ver B2. I have downloaded and updated to firmware 380.70 three times. After a certain amount of time that ranges from a few seconds to a few minutes the yellow exclamation mark starts flashing.
I have tried resets using the gui and removing power and have not gotten any error indications.
The first time did not go smoothly and was unresponsive, after about 15 minutes I removed the power and it started working. There are not notices any other symptoms.

Any suggestions? Do I need to do a factory reset?

That's because 380.70 is not the latest version - 384.4_2 is.

Any suggestions? Do I need to do a factory reset?

deactivate "check for new firmware" under Tools section
and reboot.The flashing exclamation will stop
