Upgrading Drives on RAID 5.

I am wondering how difficult it is to add a 4th drive to the DS410? I just bought 3 drives, and will eventually buy a 4th drive. I am really new to RAID, but was planning on using RAID 5 or synology's proprietary raid on a DS410.

How hard is it to add a drive later to expand the RAID array? Right now I have 1.5TB drives... What if I wanted to slowly add 2TB drives when I come across deals? Can I just turn of the device, and replace 1 drive with a 2TB? Or can I get a 2TB on the 4th bay? I don't really understand how flexible RAID is for these kinds of things... Total NOOB here.

Thanks!
