I have a working DSL-RT68U connected to Inet. Purchased an RT-68U for a m8 and would like to do some config on this box. Flashed the rt-68 to merlin 384.15. Its setup in Wireless Router Mode.

The DSL-RT is on 192.168.0.1 , RT-68 192.168.0.2 on LAN3 both class C.

If I connect a laptop to RT-68 on lan1, Lan2 is uplinked to the DSL-RT and give the laptop 192.168.0.3 I can get internet on tye laptop but if i ssh to rt-68 it cannot see the inet.

Any idea how I can get SSH internet for the rt-68 ?

DSL-RT68U is not a valid model number.

RT-68 is not a valid model number.

Plug the WAN port of the "RT-68U" into a LAN port on the DSL-whateveritis. Factory reset the "RT-68U" and leave it in router mode.
