US Xfinity Internet users check your upload speeds

I accidentally discovered today that Xfinity (US ISP) increased my upload bandwidth from the measly 20 Mbit to a less measly 35 Mbit (almost 42 Mbit with 20% over-provisioning). As a QoS user with upload artificially limited, I wouldn’t have noticed this for a long time.

It’s likely a regional, rolling upgrade process, so not all users or plans may be included yet. But heads up just in case!

Yep happened March 6th. Emails were sent to customers that are included in the upload upgrades.
