USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 Operation mode for merlin adons/diversion

New to asus merlin add-ons - I remember reading on some post that USB 2.0 operational mode is recommended for asus merlin adons because USB 3.0 operation puts usbs to sleep which can cause problems? Is there any truth to it? I have an SSD plugged in. Any recommendations which one to use USB 2.0/3.0? The WiFi intereference issue stemming from USB 3.0 doesn't concern me though.

No. That's not to say certain specific USB enclosures may have compatibility issues, but as a general rule there shouldn't be any problems using USB 3.0.
