usb_modeswitch.conf and custom config files

Hi all,
I read in the wiki how to create custom config files to add or replace original configurations.
Unfortunately there is no mention of the USB_ModeSwitch.conf file and actually it seems not to work.

Would it be possible to ask for a feature enhancement?
