For a long time I have been using Homebrew as the package manager on my Mac, but they support Linux as well. I'm currently considering using it on that platform as well (to no longer manually download/install several tools from their GitHub releases page); at least on my Raspberry Pi devices (running on Raspberry Pi OS) and on my VPS (which runs Ubuntu). But this might be hard, because the embedded Linux is rather limited by default and I'm not sure that I can install all required dependencies via Entware.
Has anyone tried this before? What's your experience?

/usr/bin/install not being available and also missing in Entware)
