Please advise on router with parental controls to schedule video streaming and specific sites (e.g. YouTube, Roblox)?

Kid (around 6 years old) is spending way too much time watching YouTube / playing Roblox. I would like to limit it, but keep other Internet connectivity (e.g. for educational apps and etc). Or be able to set dynamic rules like "if YouTube is streaming to that mac address for 30 minutes, then engage block for 60 minutes".

Please advice on appropriate user friendly router to do that. Most routers seem not to have functionality to schedule site availability by mac addresses - instead they offer to block the whole internet access or you need to write scripts (out of question due to lack of competence).

The closest thing to achieve the goal seem Synology routers, but have no feedback on them. Mobile app to quickly block/allow specific sites is a must.

Any advice welcome. Router intent for apartment around 60 sq.m (645 sq.feet), 1000 Mbit/s connection, 10-15 devices max.

Heard firewalla was pretty good. You’ll need to buy a separate access point though.
You can also try the Amazon Eero stuff (easy returns).
