Using OpenVPN on RT-AC86u, how to disconnect after 30 minutes inactivity

Occasional Visitor
I am successfully using the OpenVPN service, works great with excellent performance. I want to disconnect clients after 30 minutes of inactivity, and tried manually entering "inactive 1800" (no quotes) into the client.ovpn file on my remote desktop, but OpenVPN doesn't like it. Has anyone made this work with the ASUS implementation?
