v/n for AC-86U

Anyone know the V/N number for the AC-86U? Got a promo offer to claim and the Asus site is asking me for the v/n and I have no idea what that is for this model.

There is an S/N on the label. Do they ask for that separately from a V/N?

yeah they ask for both. s/n and v/n. they said its on the warranty card but I binned it!

Just curious what is a 'v/n'? Google/Bing isn't helping here.

I found my warranty card “VIP Member Warranty Notice” and there is indeed a sticker with the serial number and v/n number (4 digits like a PIN). Since it’s on a sticker with the unique serial number, I’m guessing the v/n is unique to the serial number as well.
