Hi,
I came across these posts about setting up VLANs on different devices:
http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/lanw...bit-stackable-managed-switch-reviewed?start=1
http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/lanwan/lanwan-howto/30071-vlan-how-to-segmenting-a-small-lan?start=2
In my workplace we own a Cisco SG 500 switch, and we want to separate the guest WiFi network from the rest of the company network.
There are 3 VLANs created at the moment:
VLAN 1 - by default
VLAN 100 - business use
VLAN 200 - isolated wifi
All the ports are set as Untagged for VLAN1 as it is the default VLAN.
I have set port 13 as Access for VLAN 200, and connected the WiFi access point there.
The uplink (connection to the router) is on port 26.
I am not sure how do I have to set up the port membership for this port so I can have internet access at my Wifi Acess Point (VLAN 200, port 13). I tried to deduce the correct way of solving this problem but I am getting more and more confused as I think about this issue.
What is your suggestion?
Best,
