VPN with Gaming and Netflix Suggestion

Been toying with the idea of a VPN for a bit, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations especially for gaming or netflix..

Obviously all the top names pop up once googled, i am tempted to try 2 or 3 monthly trials to find the right one Express VPN, Nord and VyprVPN all sound good choices any experience here?

My advice is biased as I really like my provider TorGuard as they are able to get around the VPN blocks put in place by BBC, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Hulu. Please read my blog post Why I use TorGuard.

There are many factors that impact performance. Distance to VPN server and your backbone ISP speed are key. A major factor is the CPU in the router and the cipher you use. The newer HND CPU routers in the RT-AX88U and RT-AC86U are able to accelerate performance over OpenVPN. Intel and some other CPUs have the AES-NI feature that does the same. I would be cautious with these sites. Almost all vpn review sites are heavily driven by affiliate link payments. I think restoreprivacy is the only one there I would check, and even then keep an open mind. The vpn business is quite shady.

I've tried out a few and so far I'm sticking with Nordvpn, it's fairly easy to use and works well with unblocking more netflix content. Though I rarely use it for gaming. Not that it's bad or anything, I just don't see the point.
If you want to know if those sites are biased or not just look if the links they provide are affiliate links then you'll see if they have anything to gain from promoting them. But I dunno their insights might still be worth considering

Is there supposed to be a benefit for gaming or are you trying to play in another region or something? Won't it kill your ping?
