watchdog.conf

i couldn't find watchdog.conf , watchdog.d or any other config file for the watchdog service.

where can i add/edit its parameters?

AFAIK there are no configuration parameters for the watchdog process.

can i request this feature to merlin?
or maybe compile and replace the current watchdog, just making it read a '.conf' file?

I think watchdog is something Asus wrote so it comes from the upstream source code. If you state what it is you want to change maybe Merlin or John might be able to comment on whether it's something they could change.

Watchdog is a monolithic service from Asus, it doesn't have anything configurable, therefore there's nothing for me to add there.
