I made two setup changes to my network during the last days:
1.) Upgraded the WDNR3700 to the latest FW
2.) Exchanged the patch cable from my switch to the WDNR3700. I had to cables patched together with a coupler and decided to replace it with one cable (CAT6a shielded).
My setup consists of hardwired PC's networked with a switch and the WDNR as an access point. I started to notice poor web performance on my hardwired PC's.
As soon as I unplug the cable going to the WDNR3700 (or switch it off) the web performance is back to normal on my regular clients.
I did check with an other cable. It doens't have an impact.
I suspect that the upgrade of the WDNR3700 might have something to do with this. Any tips on some settings that I could check? Perhaps the fw upgrade changed the pure AP setup?
