What is the AiCloud 2.0 Uninstall button supposed to do?

Currently (384.12) it behaves as described here: https://www.snbforums.com/threads/384-9_alpha-builds-testing-all-variants.54050/page-7#post-457622

On the AiCloud page, there is an uninstall button, but it doesn't seem to work. After clicking it the "USB Application" page shows "Uninstalling" instead of the app list, but it doesn't finish. restarting the router brings it back.​

AFAIK, AiCloud is externally installed only on a few very select models, none of which are supported by my firmware. I have no idea what that button might do on models where AiCloud is built in the firmware itself.

Yea I was wondering about this. I thought it might have been some new feature. on both rtac68u and rtac3100 using firefox.
