What is USB SF mode on my ireless USB AC adapter ?

abd should it be enabled or not ? And what does adaptivity do if enabled ? Getting great speeds in some places , 867 MBPS connection speed with the AC adapter , transfers are blazing fast .

It appears to be some sort of safe mode for USB.

My AC adapter has connection problems on PCs older than 4 years unless I enable SF Mode but then the transfer speeds are worse than Wireless N.
