Using 384.4_2 firmware.

I reset my router.

Now.. Nothing can detect wireless.

The router says 2G & 5G are up and running.
But...
No phones or anything else can see any wireless.

Any help?

Also..
I've tried to flash back to factory firmware.. Just to see if anything changes, but, when it's done flashing... I still have Merlin 384.4_2

Btw.. wired works fine

It might help if you tell us what router you are using.
1. How did you reset it?
2. Are you using a USB storage device and if so was it plugged in when you reset it and what is it 2.0 or 3.0?
3. Under the wireless/pro tab is Reducing USB 3.0 interference enabled?
4. If you are using a USB storage what USB port is it plugged into?
5. What router are you using?

- Reset using button on back of router
- No usb storage used
- interference disabled
- using Asus 88u

Edit:
I went into recovery mode.
Was then able to flash back to stock and wireless was discoverable again.

Have since reflashed Merlin and is again working.

Still don't know what caused the wireless to be undiscoverable.

You may have just gotten a glitch when you flashed it. I've had some strange stuff happen to some times.

I have a similar problem.
My wifi devices are reported as wired devices.
I'm on a Asus RT-AC87U with Merlins 384.4_2
No USB devices attached, ca - 15 wireless device's connected simultaneousy, 7 of them Google Chromecast-Audio.
I have them on channel 64 @5GHZ band and I'm all alone there.

Not even related to the original post. If you read the forum dedicated to 384.4 you'll see that this is a known issue reported many times. You'll have to wait until Asus fixes the issue and RMerlin gets the updated code from them. You'll still be able to see what wireless devices are connected on the 5GHz under the System Log->Wireless Log tab.
