I believe he is saying to use ethernet with another router as access point or if ethernet is not possible use power line adaptor to make the 2nd access point.

correct , repeaters and extenders are the last thing to use in your lan / wlan environment and should only ever be used if all other solutions have proven useless

as far as power line adapters goes start with the 500av series and work up depending on your budget

the best type will have power passthrough and wifi on the second unit
