why did not the setting (per device) display the sum of traffic?

The merlin doesn't display the sum of traffic per device. to refer to the attachment.

This is the Realtime page. That displays the current throughput, not the total amount of transferred data.

Yes, what Merlin said. Click on "Real Time" drop down arrow and select "Per Device Daily or Monthly" for a more comprehensive look....
