hi. Why router does not it show connected devices through a repeater?
asus router asus - AC68U firmware Merlin
Repeater Asus RP-N12

Because that's the way repeaters work. The router only sees the MAC addresses belonging to the repeater not the clients.
 
because the two units are not desinged to interface in that way.
