Wifi logs for N66U?

opatta17

New Around Here
Is there any way to set up wifi log to record wifi connections for some period of time? Ideally with MAC addresses? All I see is static status log which is useless if I look for something that happen 6 hours ago. And General System log doesn't show any wifi action.

No.

Is it because N66U is domestic use device or just not accessible in general? I mean, if I want to use it in semi-public environment, should I rather use more advanced device? My old Netgear had this feature, but it is dead now...

Thanks

I don't think it's anything to do with whether a device is "domestic" or not. I have a ZyXEL wireless extender (which is a cheap domestic product) and that logs the wireless connects/disconnects.

Can you give more details about what you are trying to log & why?

The same reason why there is static information about attached devices/MACs. I can't monitor it continuously, and sometimes when something happen I can access router after few hours.

The firmware doesn't generate any log entry when a wireless client connects.
